Been waiting since September for a dash pad for an 81 from USA1. Sent a couple e mails in the last few days. They still don't have any expected delivery date, none at all.

A recent post said the LMC was good quality on the 73 up style.

Before I cancel the USA1 order has anyone purchased a pad for the later style from LMC?

I bought one for my 86 from LMC. Had to trim it before it would fit. I was careful and trimed it a little at a time so as not to trim to much. It was a pain to install it over and over. But worth the time. Over all it fit pretty good. There's probably better quality but I know your pain waiting for ever.
Good luck.

I don't mind trimming a bit. Got one from Classic Industries it was absolute crap. Huge ripples on top, cluster bezel wouldn't fit and left side bowed out. Overall that one looks better. Would you buy it again?

I had mine recovered by a local upholstry shop. No fitment issues because it was the one that came from the truck.
Cost 3 years ago was about $300

Did you buy one from them? How as the fit and quality?
Yes, no complaints. I just posted some pics in a recent thread if you want to check it out.

I bought one from truck and car shop as well. Was cheaper than LMC and I would guess the quality is just as good. Like others have said, takes a little trimming but not much. For the price I was pleased with mine.

I bought one fromLMc it fit good no trimimg. I bought a speedometer cable, Speedometer and put in a new gear in transfer case and my speedometer still jumps up and down. I tried rerouting it several time but still jumps up and down. I disconnected the cable pulled it out in front of pickup stretched the cable straight and hooked a drill up to it and it still jumps. Next, I took the speedometer out of dash and hooked the drill straight to the speedometer and it does not jump, just goes to show you sometimes a part works and sometimes it doesn't. I am getting a new cable today hope it works.

Yes, a big reason I use LMC their store front is 4 miles from where I live. No shipping!!
Where is their store front? I live in Topeka, and would drive a little ways to remove the $25 shipping charge I just paid YESTERDAY for new door seals.

@Terry Wilkerson we are so jealous! Our only good fortune here is we are 11 miles from summit racing….but they have free shipping so it’s not a big win like yours……
