Hello, everyone, thanks for reading
I had a bad intake manifold gasket on my 1975 K10, with a 350, edelbrock manifold, Holley 650 CFM street performer and (I think) an Accell HEI type tan distributor. After the new gasket, new radiator, oil ans filter change, I put everything back together and now it runs like trap. I have the timing retarded as much as I can (vacuum canister is hitting the intake manifold) and it starts fime with no breather or air filter on. It idles fine and sounds nice, but pings and pops like crazy when you even lightly step on the gas, even in neutral. I marked where I pulled the distributor out and did my best to line it back up to the original spot. Any ideas, guys? Any help is appreciated.
