Hello all!
Just wanted to introduce myself and post some info about 'Blue'.

I have been lurking on the group for some time and found loads of good stuff, but I wanted to finally post and say howdy.

Blue is a 73 C20 Custom. 350 sb from a 74 Corvette. I have been working on her for quite a while but between life and all the have to's I have finally found enough quiet time to post up on here.

So far completed:
New steering wheel with turn signal cam.
Hand made behind seat speaker boxes
Hand made tonneau cover
Hand made seat covers (in process)
Dash board crack repairs and re-cover
Installed billet alt and PS brackets
Installed Optima yellow top battery
RR quarter body work-arch repair (in progress)
After market stereo head unit install (without tearing up the original dash)
Custom hand made door panels (in progress)

Future goals are:
4 link rear suspension
Finish body work and paint
Upgrade all exterior lights to led
New wiring harness
New bucket seats

I will update more as I go.

It still hip to be Square!!

Lol, sorry no she isnt. She's a full bodied gal. I like em with some room for junk. Thanks for the wave!

I like the steps too! Big enough for a redneck swimmin' pool and a cold keg and exactly 3 redneck friends!!

That tonneau cover is pretty slick! How did you fashion that?

Absolutely and thank you! Yes, good old Olive. She passed a few years ago, she was a special one. They don’t live long enough.

I actually made it from some 3/4 emt conduit that I measured to cover the stake pockets. Then I welded the conduit and bought some blue vinyl from the mazon website and used contact adhesive to seal and glue the seams and sewed the edges and center seam on the wifes singer (dont let her know!). Then I used some strap hinges and attached tem to the bed so I could just loosen them to make the cover removable. I then used some 1 in strap and 2 plastic strap buckles to secure the back down so it wouldnt flop around. I probably have 150 bucks in the whole deal somewhat color matched to Blue.
