73 c10 wiper issue

I installed the wiper motor and arms and it’s stopping 1/2 way through
I think my issue is the wiper motor is from the 73 and the linkage is the 78s?
Is there a variation I need to know about?

The output shaft in the 73 seems longer than the 78s
Like a dumba$& I tossed the linkage from my 73

There is a difference in the crank arm that bolts to the motor, but I don't remember what the difference is.

So the wipers just plain stop, or they go halfway and then return again?

The length of stroke is correct
But the home position is square in the middle of the stroke

Oh, that kinda rings a bell. The crank arm "flats" must be clocked differently.

Yes I think the Crank arms are clock slightlt different

Ok update
The transmission arms are the same
73-80
The motors changed in 77 so the crank arm also changed

Initially I figured only the offset was different so I shimmed out the motor.
Turns out as you can see the timing is different too
