what do you guys think

i have a 61 chevy truck with torsion bar front suspension and i have been wondering if it would ride better than coil springs do.

i know the trailing arm rear suspension ride alot better than leafs do.

i have been thinking about swapping the rear trailing arms into my 2 wheel drive 85 blazer.

i put 5 lug disc brakes and 2.5'' drop spindals in my 61 already with the torsion bars i was thinking about it last night at work. and wondered if it would ride better if i swapped it into the blazer as well.

the swap would be pretty much bolt in

i want the blazer to ride like a car not a truck

Coil springs will give a better ride than torsion bars. I always thought 1/2 ton 2wd squares rode fantastic, do you not agree?

i only drove my 2 wheel drive blazer for a couple months and i remember it riding a little rough could be the tires it had on it.

my 85 shortbed is dropped with rear hangers and shackles and front spindals with stock springs front and back and it rides pretty good.

i don't know i was working graves and tired last night maybe not thinking right.

thats one of my problems i think to much and have to many options and i am not afraid to do the work.

leave the torsion bar suspension they ride really good and even better if you use P metric tires on it
