there is a jamb nut under the shifter. back that off first then it just unscrews by hand. highdesertranger

both of mine have jamb nuts. what t-case are you running? mine is a 205. highdesertranger

Try a strap wrench, just be sure the one you purchase goes small enough to fit the Knob. ..Same concept as the belt, just with a handle to leverage with.

Looks glued on. I think the belt or strap wrench is the only option

@DoubleDingo haha No, I threw it away as soon as I took it off, but it wasn't horribly bad. I mostly wanted to put on a new one.
