I've searched but I can't seem to find a answer, I have a ls swapped M1008 with A 4l80, I used the lokar shift linkage set up and I'm not sure if it's set right. I barely have to move my shift selcter on my column and it pops from P to R with very little movement. Un link the factory gear selection process that has a defined gear selection clunk. Have other people experienced this with the lokar shift inkage (I hope this makes sense)

Thanks

So is this column shifted, using original column and shifter? What transmission was in it originally?

If it was a column shifted turbo 400 I think I'd try running it with out the column detent plate. If this fixes the situation. I'd modify or replace the detent plate.
