400 SBC vs 454 BBC

For the meantime I've found a complete 400 SBC carb to pan for 550, talked guy down to 450 without carb. Is everything for a 350 a direct bolt in ? Same plumbing, lines, ect. ?

Can you hear it run before purchase?

make sure you get the flywheel/flex plate and balancer, the 400 is externally balanced and cant use the 350s. Other than that yes, you can swap intakes, pans, wp, accesory brackets, even heads (insert argument about steam holes here), trans, etc..

Yea I can seems fine no knocks or grinding. I'll have to buy a flywheel because it has a flexplate since I got a sm465
