Hey guys I'm new here I have a 1986 cclb gmc with a 350 and a turbo 400 I have a tall deck 427 I want to swap in as this will be mostly for towing an inclosed trailer and want the torque that I can't get with a sbc I don't want to hear the debate on tall deck vs regular bbc. What I want to know is what will I need for this swap so I can get a price list together and get going on my project. Thank you in advance.

I am putting a tall deck in a 1984 swb , that I previously had in my 1992 chevy pick up. I plan on using the stock small block mounts. What manifold are you using? I have a dart single plane but I am debating using a rpm with spacers. I wish they would make a dual plane tall deck manifold for these. I am looking for a pulley set up for it, In the 92 I used the serpentine set up with spacers I made and a r.r. water pump.

I guess it all depends on what you want to use. It will bolt right in using the stock SB mounts. I don't know how well the fan will fit with a stock shroud, but electric fans will fix that. Header fitment may take a little clearancing.
