Direct swap, if it's out of the same year. Other years may have some minor differences that still won't cause you any trouble.

Get an adjustable fpr & gauge. The stock regulator's factory setting varies quite a bit, some as low as 11 psi. Set it to 13 and see how she goes. The factory pump should be able to put out around 15 psi but you'll want to run only as much pressure as necessary.

If you mean putting in larger injectors, no. The fuel delivery tables are set in the ecm and dropping in larger injectors without adjusting the prom will throw everything off. Even going with a different (albeit mild) cam is iffy at best. A custom tune after the swap is highly recommended.

You don't have to send the ECM, sometimes not even the PROM. You should contact Brian at TBIchips, his pricing is very fair. His website will also answer a lot of your questions.

you need to put the proper injectors in, 55lb per hr for the 350, and you will need a chip for the 350, which TBICHIPS will be able to help you with. Carbing it is a bad idea.
