Anybody have a set of 3/4 ton front coil springs, I want to try to lift the front of my DD to even out the stance.

I'll have a set, but it'll be awhile. That 3/4 ton with the front bent frame that was in a minor wreck. I am not sure when I'll get to dismantling that truck. Its at my dads 70 miles east of here, and I don't do good with cold weather. Might even be March before I got to it.

Clean, I'm looking for the exact same thing! If you find some and that person has more than one set keep me in mind. I'd like to level mine out too by raising the front up a bit.

Are we certain 3/4 ton coils will fit the 1/2 ton lower control arm?

Hollander shows the control arm to be the same for 3/4 and 1 ton, but 1/2 ton is only for 1/2 ton.

We'd need to compare them to see what the differences are.

I was aware the 3/4 and 1 ton were the same and I know the 1/2 ton is differant, but that still wouldnt mean for sure that it won't fit. It would be interestesting to find out. I'd imagine they will go in, but will they will be properly supported and held in place is my question.

If you just need to gain an inch or two I think they make coil spring spacers for just about anything with coils. They kinda look like shallow cups with thick bottoms.

I've looked for these at LMC but with no luck. Where do they sell these?

:hmm: $11 each. That's not bad at all. Thanks for the link, 89Sub! I may have to pic a couple of those up. I'm really wanting to get the front end up so that the truck sits more level. Then I'm going to get real itchy to get some new rims and tires on it, though. Kind of a catch 22!!! :)

I think I'd go the simple ring type, and that is the type I was thinking of and what I beleive C4 is reffering to.
