Yes, it is a good show and there's even a squarebody specific part of the show too!

There's the links to the past 4 years. The third link is for two years apparently. There's pictures of the event in all of them and I believe they all have links to a bunch of Facebook pictures too.

Since it is getting closer to this event, to the folks that have attended in years prior, any suggestions for lodging?

I stay at Wyndham places because I can stay for free. Absolutely do not stay at the Super 8 that is a few miles northwest of town, unless you get two or three rooms so you can stay in whichever one is least disgusting. The last couple years I've stayed at the Baymont and it's ok.

There's much nicer places to stay though, if you aren't a cheap ass like me.

Well I remembered to make a reservation. Went with the Baymont as it seemed decent enough and reasonable. As long as the a/c works and carpet isn’t crawling is good enough for me.

Now I guess I aught to get the truck ready for this.

Not sure what everyone else's plans are, but I will be leaving tomorrow for Richmond.

If anyone else will be arriving tomorrow would be interested in meeting up for supper or something?

Getting an early start! We will be leaving Friday morning (probably later than I would like) and getting there mid day sometime (again, probably later "mid day" than I would like).

We will be bringing a couple canopies and a bunch of chairs. I'm also going to bring my shop fan, because I noticed last year where we were parked in the show, there were outlets on light poles, lol. Sometimes a light breeze makes things much more comfortable when trying to relax.

It looks like the forecast is becoming a little more "favorable." If it's to be trusted lol.

That crew cab was there last year too.

When I was getting trucks ready to go, I decided it was time to clean out the driver's map pocket. I hadn't done it in a few years, lol.

I haven't seen one of those gas mileage tally wheels in decades....
Used to be pretty handy before everyone had a calculator in their smartphone.

I've got two or three of them. This one came with the truck. It's from some place in Florida, which is where the truck lived It's first half of It's life.
