2001 2wd silerado frame 1976 cab and bed

Has anyone put a 70's cab and bed on a 2001 frame? Both are 2wd. I did not see any threads when I did a search. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Haha, funny you mentioned it. I think im the only person on the internet doing it right now, and thats not a joke. I cant find a 73-87 c10 cab/bed swap on a 99-06 gasser frame ANYWHERE

I have the bed and cab mounted and bolted down right now To a 4x4 04 tahoe frame WITH a vortec 4200

77Dmax did it on a duramax truck frame

Might be closer to a silverado ? I dont know.

Hello- I'm trying to get my post count up to use the classifieds. I'm right in the middle of my project and need some odds and ends. Has anyone else swapped a squarebody cab and bed on a newer frame? I'm putting the 77 on my 05 2500hd with the durajunk..

Seeing a guy doing this on Tiktok, basically cut out the firewall from the squarebody and stuffing it down on the newer frame to keep the new dash and drivetrain. Haven't seen any updates on the kid for almost 2 months now, not sure if they gave up or what.
