2" Rear Block Removal

I am looking at removing my 2" rear blocks and putting on ORD Shackle Flip kit. My question is will I only need the 2 1/2" kit to make up for the blocks. Part # for the kit is GU38012. I all ready have the Offset 1" Zero Rate Add a Leaves from ORD. Still new at this kind of stuff so I just want to do it right.

Also when I bought the Burb the previous owner already had the Rough Country 6" lift for it and never installed it. I have been reading on here that Rough county kits are just that. Was thinking of swapping out the front leafs for some different ones. What does everyone suggest?

I suggest you sell me the 6 inch and do the 4 inch shackles. You get half the lift for what the shackles are so for 2 inch shackles you get 1 inch and 4 you get 2

This is true for longer front shackles, but not the rear shackle flip. In the stock position with stock shackle the rear of your leaf is ~4" above the bottom of the frame. When you flip it it is then 4" below the frame, 8" total /2 = 4" lift. Their 6" Super Shackles net about 5" of lift but you would be better off to use 2" lift springs with the 4" flip kit, or a 2" block if you're wanting 6" lift. On their site they explain the 6" Super Shackles in conjunction with the 4" flip bracket yield too much pinion roll and have a weird feeling of instability.
