@Vbb199 you gonna buy golf clubs now??.....lol

Maybe just 1 for wrapping around a predators head since we live out in BFE and there's no cab protecting me now.

I am trading off the tires and stock suspension for bigger tires and a lift this weekend I think.

I'm also looking into a mini nitrous kit for gits and shiggles

If it doesn't work right, and you get pissed, you could give yourself a shot of that giggle gas with your new handy little applicator.

This will probably be the last posting until I get the lift and tires on, because from here I'm just going to keep fiddling with AFR until it runs where it's happy.

Me and friend and my oldest daughter went on a ride yesterday.

So an added 200 pounds roughly

I'm 215.

Did good. Didn't struggle going uphill.

Must have a strong clutch setup in the little drum.

It did overheat one time tho. So I fattened the mix up a tad more. The odor seemed to reflect as much , but it's still not smoking. So I'm kinda thinking the 40:1 mix needs to be a littler heavier.

No big deal.

Fired it up this morning, just barely choked it. Ran great.

Drove it to work (down the driveway) lol

Not too bad of a little buggy. I like it.

And as easy as it is to service (now understanding it alot better), ****. If I kill it, I'll get another piston and cylinder and just make it breath life again if my learning curves hurt it too badly.

Overall, I love it! I need to build actual seats for it instead of the plywood lol

Some actual shots of it all around.

A little beat up, but he'll, if it wasn't beat up, it wouldn't be mine! I don't like fancy and perfect machines/cars/trucks.

Side note for viewers, you can use small block chevy exhaust primary gaskets if you snip them for exhaust gaskets on these 2pg motors.

so i figured i should post this up, because its been a little bit of a project ive been working on in the background.

last year i picked up a 1985ish ez go marathon, around christmas i think. my buddy found two of them for like, 600$ bucks, which is a steal, and said, "hey if i go load these and buy them, will you pay me back like, 400"

i said sure, why not, we live on a ton of property (mine or family owned), it would be cool to have a buggy to ride around, or even (because ii work down the drive) ride to and from work and never even start the car.
(i have to start the car during school days because my dad takes my oldest to the same school my brother attends, and i dont want to make her walk all that way, and quite frankly, i sometimes dont like the walk lol)

anywho, i also figured it would just be a nice buggy for drunk shenanigans, or taking trash to the dumpster, etc. maybe if its reliable, even do something cool like drive it in the bed of the c10, drive the c10 on the trailer, then go to a drag race event, have the buggy to ride around the event.... you get it.
Cool! I got into carts about 5 years ago. Lifted mine 48v upgrade, bigger controller etc.

I will note today, I tested my theory, and capped the "oil injection" inlet back off, and it flooded out again lol

So that was probably a major contributor to the flooding. But I believe there's still some validity to the throttle being cracked open a little

I never posted any photos, but I did the lift and bigger tires trade.

1 tire had a leak so I tubed it this weekend

Basically just a block type lift.

I went to the landfill recently as well, and someone was about to toss a raggedy squarebody bottom half of a bench seat in, I asked if I could have it, cut it down in the middle, and set it up on the plywood "seat" I had on the buggy.

The curves of the seat fit perfectly in the curve of the golf cart, so it was a nice match.

Alot easier on the back and butt with a springy seat now lol

Of course I started with half the lift, and drove it out front to take a quick photo shoot for a meme I thought up.

I think it's pretty original, I've never seen a meme about a squatted golf cart

A little closer shot of the backwards squarebody bench seat.

Looks janky, but it makes it a nicer ride.

Also, take note of the famous Miller lite beer bottle cap choke cable.

I thought that was the funniest thing when I was younger.

I had it in an old k5 I had, and needed a choke, so I used the bottle cap as a retainer. Before I sold that truck, I took it off to keep for another carb vehicle I had.... well here we are 6 years later

I ended up adjusting the low rpm mix again, as well as the throttle position for the bigger tires over the weekend. Started out fat, and it ran decently, had enough nut to spin the tire in reverse or forwards.

But I leaned it out a little. I'll see how it does now as I drive it.

This pretty much concludes the thread I guess?

There's nothing more I'll do with it until I find like, a 500cc motor or something to swap in. (Which I will) but for now, i don't think I have anymore to do with it other than drive it.

Why stop at 500cc? Get a 1200cc motorcycle engine from the boneyard!
