1985 C10 front clip on 1979 k20 Custom Delux

I am wondering if a 1985 C10 front clip wheel bolt on a 1979 K20 custom deluxe? Has anyone on here done this and how much trouble is it going to be?

Welcome to the site. From what I understand you will need to do some fabrication work to the cowl.

I put an '85 clip on my '80 C20 back in the late 90's. Pretty easy. I do recall had to cuts some slots into the cowl for the hinges. The wiper stands are different (longer) and to fit the 81 & up bumper you will need to trim the front frame horns. I can't recall if I had to get new battery cables, since the battery rotates 90 degrees. I know my I had to get the snorkel tube for the later model as the 80 was too short to hook up to the core support.
