Looking for a bolt on roll pan for a 1978 jimmy. I see a weld on option but I would prefer to keep it removable for access.

Does anyone know of a product that is a bolt on or am I fabricating one from a weld on myself?

Are you cutting the rear frame? The problem with a K5 frame is it extends past the body to the rear bumper. The springs that help lift the tail gate are hidden in there. I had to extend my custom bumper on my K5 back in the day due to this.

I was hoping to just sneak it in there. The hinges will stick out over the roll pan I think. I may have to reconsider the roll pan if it effects the tailgate.

Take a look under there. The frame horns are the attachment point for the rear bumper, at least on a 77. I don't know if they changed the design for '81 and up like they did for the front bumpers. My only reference was for a 4wd frame. I sold that truck 20 years ago.
