is it gonna be carb or tbi?

vortec heads give more power over any other stocker right off so they are good and worth it, but for tbi might need a chip burnt not sure.

yes I know it's a tbi motor just wondered if you were going to keep it tbi or make it a vortec head carb motor.

I've seen a lot of uys do the vortec intake tbi setup or even vortec carb intake with a tbi adapter plate and make it work but some have used big block tb's or injectors and what not and some used a chip or all can't remember, but any other plans like bigger cam? egr system?

Vortec heads have a different bolt pattern than non vortec heads.

Vortec heads have 4 bolts in each head 2 in front and 2 in the rear 0 in the middle.

Non-Vortec heads have 6 bolts in each head 2 in the front, 2 in the middle and 2 in the rear.
