Fix Slamming Doors - Striker Door Latch Repair

In your case, I would not adjust the striker down at all. When the door drags on it, the striker raises the door up a bit. I'm assuming you have nice door gaps right now. So if you adjust the striker, it will throw off your door gap. So since your hinges are not sloppy, what has happened is...

How can i separate my rotor from hub? Looks like its all one piece need help!

Older trucks have completely different front suspensions between 2wd and 4x4. It's not at all like most modern trucks with IFS and unit bearings, where the only difference is whether or not the unit bearing has an axle shaft poking through it.

How can i separate my rotor from hub? Looks like its all one piece need help!

Looks like they sent you the wrong kit. The application list in the description is correct for what you need. Imho, it's always a crap shoot buying automotive parts on Amazon.

P/S pump pressure side fitting size on 97/07. Want to convert to AN fitting (pic's)

Also, if you want to get fancy, you can put a compression type AN adapter on the pump return outlet, and then run AN line on the return too.

P/S pump pressure side fitting size on 97/07. Want to convert to AN fitting (pic's)

If you are running AN line, you'll need the same fitting for the pressure port on the steering box. I believe the one you found is correct. Iirc, the return fitting on the steering box is a different size, so there are two different size adapter fittings on the market.

What rotors did you buy? Sounds like you bought rotors for a 4x4. 2wd trucks have a 1-piece rotor/hub.

91 Burban Radio Restoration - Static Gone!

Very cool! The original Delco radios sound really good when they are in nice condition. It's good to know a source for repairs! There used to be a couple Delco radio repair shops in my area, but they have been gone for decades.

I think I drove mine for about a week with open headers, lol.

Lawn/ Garden tractors/ Riding Mowers, Cool Mods and tinkering

My trusty garden tractors. Well, I guess only one is trusty, lol. But I really like two of the others too... one will possibly used for some of the parts. Bolens Husky 800- has a mower deck, tiller and a dump bed. I really like it, but the carb has been giving me fits for years. John Deere...

    Best Flowmaster

Oh yeah, and @Rusty Nail had a good point. My crew cab has headers, H-pipe, Flowmaster 40's and full length tailpipes. There is absolutely zero drone.

    Best Flowmaster

I can appreciate a variety of sounds, as long as it's a V8 making the music. I've got a lot of cars and trucks, I try not to do repeats on mufflers so they all have their own sound. But one of my favorites is the cheapest. My '73 wagon has a 2bbl 350, headers, 2.5" pipes and a pair of glass...

    I need a donut

Unfortunately, I only know of one parts store that still has books on hand. It's several hundred miles from home. I've got a Napa Body Hardware book from 2013 that I have to take with me to the local store when I need to restock.

    I need a donut

I'd a tried the local Napa (still a great mom/pop type store) but it was late on a weekend so they weren't open.

    I need a donut

I rarely mess with manifolds anymore, but in the past, my local parts store back then never wanted me to have them look it up by application. They just had me go in the back and pick the donuts I wanted. These days, the stores don't stock sh!t for donut gaskets. I recently needed donut gaskets...

    Best Flowmaster

It's funny how personal taste can differ with exhaust sounds. I'll take the drone of a 40 series Flowmaster over the ho-hum sound of a Magnaflow any day, lol. But there's also some really good options out there that are either the best of both worlds, or a mix of the two sounds. There's way...

    Stuck Hood

There's not supposed to be a cable. You just move the latch mechanism. Does the handle not move? Try pushing downward on the hood while you try to release the mechanism. It might be adjusted too tight.

Steering Stabilizer Different Than Current One Even When Said To Be Exact Fit/ Bolt Doesn't Fit Through Tie Rod

Probably original. It's the lighter duty tie rod that you have, but I haven't messed with them much. I'm used to the heavier duty tie rods. GM had two styles in use at the same time.

Steering Stabilizer Different Than Current One Even When Said To Be Exact Fit/ Bolt Doesn't Fit Through Tie Rod

Looks like you have the smaller tie rod that maybe doesn't have a tapered hole? I dunno, the larger tie rod definitely uses the new stud like in your pictures.

I took care of it. You didn't do anything wrong, it's just the modern era of message forums I guess. The big electronic brain sometimes thinks a photo might contain things of the no-no variety and it just needs to be approved by a moderator before it will show up.

GMC Savana, Plus a Chevy Express Now Too

I don't like that it's painted white, but I absolutely love this van. I've pulled several loads with it now, in the 9-11k range and it handles it so well. The van is just so dang useful and the mpg isn't horrid either. And it's comfortable too. I think I've nearly put 11k miles on it now. I...
