Wide Tires on 2wd

I'm coming from old school Chevy muscle cars into theses square body's now that I have one but I would think if your running a 10inch wide wheel you'd want a 5.5bs but maybe that's just when it comes to cars? I have 295/50/15 on my rear right now on a 15x8 rim and personally it won't look good...

Ya I think that's what I'm going to go with. Of course before I asked I did research and that was actually what I heard from chevelles.com but I've never had a truck just old school muscle cars like chevelles and novas and just wanted to double check with somebody that has a square body. But...

265/50 on 15inch rim or no?

Just a quick question. Have 15x8 on rear with 295/50/15 but the fronts are 15x7. Now since there isn't a big selection on 50r15 tires should I go 265/50/15 on the 15x7 or 245/60 I just don't want the miss match in side wall height to make it look funny.
