High quality Grills and window trim

Little gotchas like this are exactly why I asked. Thanks man! Do you know of a place that refinishes the chrome? Or at least a process that I can use to strip it? My stock stuff is structurally sound, but the chrome is peeling bad.

High quality Grills and window trim

Is there a "best" place to get grill, headlight bezels and misc window trim for my 91? or is it all the same? I'd prefer OEM on the grill but it's not available anymore. :Insane: Thanks

    88-91 Paintable grill?

Yea, looks like I'm going to keep the chrome. I got to check out a new aftermarket grill and it was made way better than I remember them being made years ago. I may paint the argent area gloss black to match my truck and continue with the bowtie like I was planning. Thanks fellas. :)

    88-91 Paintable grill?

Same style, and yea I know, but wanted to avoid painting chrome. Seems like the damn chrome always ends up peeling. I may strip the chrome off the stocker and paint it, but kind of wanted to keep it if I decide to go back.

    88-91 Paintable grill?

Has anyone seen an aftermarket paintable grill? I'd like to color match the Burb when I paint it, but I've only seen chrome or chrome/argent grills.

Squarebody steering box ID and interchange

Bringing up an old thread, I've seen nothing mentioned about the Variable Ratio P/S used in the later squares. Any info on this?

    ranger over drive questions

Gear vendors are the way to go and very well proven units. Next mod for my truck (even with a factory 80E) is a GV and 4.10s. https://www.gearvendors.com/cg2wd4s.html

    Not so new, newb...

Faster than it needs to be, even with a 225. I've also thought about buying a brand new 200XS (which is really 240+hp) but they aren't exactly easy to get anymore.

    Not so new, newb...

Probably a 225 Merc until I can get my hands on an 05 280 like I had on it before.

    Not so new, newb...

From FL, via Dallas, Texas... I've owned a few squares, but my second to last one is the one I have now... The last square I buy will be a 91 K5 ;) Yes, I know, good luck finding one of those, lol. Anyways, nice to be here and I'll probably start a continuing build thread soon, I'm always...
