88-91 Paintable grill?

Has anyone seen an aftermarket paintable grill? I'd like to color match the Burb when I paint it, but I've only seen chrome or chrome/argent grills.

Anything is paintable if you scuff it up with some sandpaper first. Are you going to use an oem style grill or something different?

Same style, and yea I know, but wanted to avoid painting chrome. Seems like the damn chrome always ends up peeling.

I may strip the chrome off the stocker and paint it, but kind of wanted to keep it if I decide to go back.

Why don't you just keep the chrome center strip and color match the rest?

IMO, I'd say keep the chrome and paint the argent black or whatever your darker color is.

Yea, looks like I'm going to keep the chrome. I got to check out a new aftermarket grill and it was made way better than I remember them being made years ago. I may paint the argent area gloss black to match my truck and continue with the bowtie like I was planning. Thanks fellas.
