    Windshield Wiper Intermittent Function

    My '87 R10 has a column stalk with cruise, wipers and turn signal. The wiper functions include an intermittent setting before reaching the low setting. The problem is that it doesn't work. The low and high function just fine. So what could be the issue here? Thanks!

    After trying all the suggestions offered I believe I've narrowed it down to the dash. It squeaks constantly at a low tone until I press down on the center of the dash near the windshield. The dash appears to be mounted securely though there may be loose bolts underneath. I guess my next step...

    It's real soft, like the springs and shocks are blown. The steering feels a little squishy as well, but its got new components down the tree.

    SquareRoot, no amplifier and it does not stop when radio is disconnected. The sound reminds me of glass on rubber squeak. I'll heed your advice on the EFI. The truck was originally set up as EFI so the tanks and pumps are there. Thanks!

    It has new good quality plug wires. It does not increase with engine speed, nor does the radio have to be powered on.

    You're right, and I should clarify. It was already dropped when I bought it. But, the front tires are bottoming out when I transverse any little hump. So, I thought the coil springs and shocks need to be changed or upgraded as they appear to be cheap or low-grade. Any suggestions? Thanks!
