    Frame is finished and I have started reassembly....I had frame sand blasted the I sealed it in epoxy primer followed buy a nice medium coat of Herculiner bed liner then two nice wet coats of Eastwood Ceramic Chassis Black. It turned out great and will last forever.

    to save or repair?

    like already mentioned the replacement panels are cheap. If you have more time than money buy the panels, if you have more money than time maybe you should try to source another cab. Or, if your a dumbass like me who has more money than time buy the panels and still do it yourself anyway....:cheers:

    For frame paint I like to use Eastwood's Ceramic Chassis Black...I use the satin finish but they also have a gloss finish. Tough stuff....I just got a couple quarts to do the frame on my 73 GMC when it comes back from the media blaster.

    did you convert from a disc/drum setup to a disc/disc setup? If so, you shouldn't being using the then stock prop valve...you'll need a disc/disc prop valve for proper use.:)

    Salvage OEM Heater Core?

    It weighs so much less because as you stated the old one is brass/copper and the new one is aluminum, which is much lighter than the original. The new aluminum heater core will work just fine, aluminum dissipates heat much better anyway which is what you want it to do. I bought a new one also...
