    The kit prob keeps the factory rake 2" sounds about right it keeps the wheel well openings the same distance from tires.

    That truck had older 12bolt rear welded and d44 front setup with 3.08 gears too was fine on road was a dog offroad tho in deep mud. Only thing I ever broke on it was front axle joints..

    If its on road truck 35s will work but like stated will rub offroad.. I had 3" lift and 33s on stock rallys looked good didn't rub. Then added another 4" 36" swampers offset wheels and they rubbed offroad some.

    3/4 ton short bed

    There's a lot diferent between the frames much taller in middle if you compair two you will see diferences.. also the springs would be diferent on 3/4 ton so technicaly you can't just throw 3/4 ton axles under half ton n call it 3/4 ton. It does not have the same hauling capacity..

    Pre 80 is standard flare fitting end 80 and newer is 18mm which is same as any new style box.. i used all 98 s10 steering pump and lines on mine to convert to type 2 pump..

    You can paint whitewalls on.. they had a machine back in the day to do it.. I think it looks kinda cool kinda more of a rat rod look..

    Yea filler is close to rear not too bad. I did not do it it was already there.. I woulda mounted under bed but either way will be a pain cuz I'm gonna put a toneau on it.

    I ran into an issue here but mine was because of wrong carpet .. but auto has a low hump not removeable and manual has a high hump removable.. I think 4wd has a raised back section also for transfer case but could be wrong on that..

    So ok is there a straight answer out there on doing windshield?? 73-87 uses the seal you put on truck first then put glass into it and then lock ring to secure correct? I've seen people posting the other way which is how the old style ones were 68-72.. kinda like the back windows on the 73-87...

    Treadwrights anyone?

    Ive run them on 3 vehicles.. worked great on my jeeps but on my fullsize dodge lasted about 20k miles.. you dont get good fuel mileage with them too but i assume thats not an issue..

    Great writeup was gonna put these seats in my c10 but ran into that issue.. maybe down the road ill swap em once the truck is together n driving.. they are the most comfortable seat out there! N seat belts built in is a plus!

    fuel cell vent question

    Has anyone worked with fuel cells? Have fuel cell mounted in my bed can I just run the vent out the top of it have the line make a 180 and go down through the bed or does it need more bends? It has rollover ball valve inside tank on this vent output..
