    Edelbrock 660 electric choke

Can anyone explain how the electric choke works on the Edelbrock 660 in regards to starting after the trucks already been running and driven. Mine is not wired in and restarting the truck tends to be a pain in the ass. Also is there a way to test it to make sure it’s actually working before or...

    Seat recovering

Think I’ve finally got it done minus one bolt in the seat track mount to the floor and the frigan red seat belts that the bolts won’t even budge on!

    Seat recovering

Seat bottom! Hoping to have carpet and seats fully installed by the weekend but ran into a water in the cab issue! But I didn’t want to risk putting the carpet and seats in with the water leak!

I’m guessing seam sealer isn’t going to stop the water from coming in….

Pulled the cowl and seam sealed everything up top and still water leaking in… looked further and found this…

    Seat recovering

I had a pretty easy time getting the covers over, it was just the last tiny bit of that j channel mixed with my impatients! All in all it was a half way decent project that’s sitting on my kitchen table waiting for the carpet to be installed!

    Seat recovering

Got them both recovered but let me tell you that back j channel that hooks on the bottom of the seat frame can not take a lot of pulling. I ended up having thread separation on the last 3” of it from pulling on it.

    Seat recovering

Very tough on the hands! The hog rings were a whole body maneuver to get it though both sides and around the metal rod.

    Seat recovering

I’ve taken on the task of recovering the rats nest of a seat in the K10. It is a task. Getting the hog rings out was a battle but getting new ones back in even more of a battle. The electric turkey knife is a game changer!! But finding the dumb stuff people use to “fix” issues is giving some...

Anyone know what this is?! A lot of wires and some not connected

Will disconnecting any of that cause issues other than cruiser control not working?

Anyone know what this is?! A lot of wires and some not connected

It’s looking like it wires into the wiper control on the steering column. This on my 86 k10 and it appears to have a newer style wiper control.

Anyone know what this is?! A lot of wires and some not connected

This is under the dash just hanging in a rats nest of wires. Two of the wires are not connected on one end.

Can you guys let me know your thoughts on frame

On my K10 the frame has me questioning it a little bit only for the fact of looking at it and tapping on it. Thoughts on its condition And also thoughts on a fix for it if needing to be fixed. Without swapping the whole frame.

Engine temp running a bit warm

Afternoon everyone 86 k10 with a carb swapped 350 runs a bit warm any thoughts of where I should start aside from coolant level? It did have the over flow plugged off with no overflow tank so I’ve since added a tank and opened up the overflow. Hasn’t gone above 230 on the gauge and when I’m...
