1980 C10 Custom Deluxe sputters at 35 mph

Help needed! My C10 is bogging/sputtering at 35 mph and when I let off the throttle, the pickup seems fine and will advance and do repeat at 45 mph. I’ve changed out the plugs, wires, distributor, new fuel pump, blew the fuels lines out, and replaced all vacuum lines and fuel filter going to...

Battery posts are secured as can be. That’s how it’s always ran since the original owner. I’m going to try your recommendations. They’ve been helpful so far.

Well that wasn’t it, as I discovered it was the ignition switch. Replaced it and it started once and the lock cylinder wouldn’t go back to the lock position...

    Ignition Cylinder / Ignition Switch

Thank you, yes the old track and sector match the new. There isn’t any cracks with the old. This is my first go at it, so to know if the rod is bent is beyond me. Same goes for the adjustment of the switch. I will move the switch to the lower position and see if that works.

Curious to know how you fixed this? I watched the YouTube videos and am not having any success. I’ve replaced the rack and sector too.

Hello - question for anyone as I’m in need of help. I replaced my ignition switch and when I started the truck it started but the ignition cylinder would not line back up in the lock position. I’ve town it down and the Rack and Sector are in good shape. I replaced them anyway since I was there...
