Which Impact Tool
DO NOT TIGHTEN LUG NUTS TO 450 FT/LB AS IT WILL TEAR YOUR STUDS OUT! Many of these tools are too powerful and you will screw things up! -
11" brake drum question
When I do drum brakes, and during final assembly I just adjust the adjuster so the drum goes on with a little resistance. If it won't go on, loosen the adjuster. I'm using my full size fluid extractor to bleed brakes now. The hand pump just took too much pumping. The extractor is air powered, so I just turn a valve and it sucks! -

New cheapo bed cover, $205.99, from Amazonia. Roll up with velcro. Old cover had snaps, which were a pain. EZ-COVER 8' Soft Roll Up Truck bed cover Doesn't cover the stake holes in top of bedrail, but I added rubber sheeting to cover those 6 holes. -

Just remember, you will need new intake and exhaust manifolds and have to re-do the front exhaust pipe that leads to the catalyst.- justhorns

New impact: air vs battery powered?
I have a big IR compressor and air tools (Kobalt and IR) and battery powered Milwaukee M18. For heavy stuff, I use the Kobalt air tool as it is powerful and compact, to get in smaller places. I got them because the black plastic ones do not look right. I bought them for the metal frames. I also gave them as a present to Ralph, the truck, for 5 years ownership. New wipers that look right.. Good gift for a 45 year old truck. -

New Trico "classic" wipers. I hate the black plastic., but why did Trico put that stupid silver plastic center fitting? 2" longer than stock is no problem. #33-183, $24.99 EACH on the jungle site. -

I'm probably going to go for a Edelbrock 1406 ( 4 bbl) on an offenhauser manifold. Where did you get that chart? Why the dual values for curb idle speed. I'm running r45TS as plugs.- justhorns
