    Need help identify my BB

Yes sir and unfortunately what I know now didn't help for what I should have known then. I used to scrap metal for a living in early 2000s and I cant tell you how many 10-50k BBC, BBF and BBM we scraped and over half of them were running fine. I think the one I kick myself over is the 83 model...

    Need help identify my BB

Again thanks pduffyd for everything, I think we're both lucky to have a early BB. Seems there getting quite rare around here, or at least ones that haven't been machined to death. Or not capable of even running. Good luck and Rock On brother!

Thank you pduffyd for all your research on this your awesome.I agree the engine very well could have been replaced at one time or another. I do have some interesting info on it though. My great uncle worked for GM from 73-92 and has past since but while talking to his son about the truck a...

Also if anyone wants to chime in on the sleeper on this truck would help too. What gets me is how well the construction is on it, ie how it's mounted to the frame and to the cab. Also what's really interesting is the truck and sleeper (notice there the same color) appears to have the original...

    Need help identify my BB

Ok so going with the flow of this weird damn engine I went out and scratched the numbers ( T0315XXW) and did a little research. Again can't find anything for suffix XXW found XW but says it's a 350 SB that's not possible so... Anyone seen this suffix before? It decodes fine otherwise T=...

    Need help identify my BB

Well if it were machined it was a long time ago so I could understand them not really caring if they were wiped off. If it was more recent then it would be better preserved. That's my thoughts on it but that being said I still have to get back out there and see if the numbers above the timing...

The 366 cu in (6.0 L) Big Block V-8 gasoline engine was used only in Chevrolet medium duty trucks and in school buses. It had a bore and a stroke of 3.935 in × 3.76 in (99.9 mm × 95.5 mm). This engine was made from the 1960s until 2004.The 366 used 4 rings on the pistons, as it was designed from...
