Hook the negative or the tach from the dizzy to the cigarette lighter socket instead of the factory positive wire on the back.If you don't want it to start push in the lighter.It'll kill the engine when it's running too,so don't push it in going down the road.- 69 gto

No dash or tail lights, this is WEIRD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unhook the positive wire that is on the cig lighter and see if that helps. That's what was wrong with my wife's Trans Am.- 69 gto
