    85 c15 fuel delivery issue

    There are 2 bolts down by the fuel pump in the front of the engine... If they are too long... Bracket was removed... You will bind up the fuel pump drive shaft... Maybe flatten the cam love that drives the fuel pump. I have seen this happen...! You have to be careful when changing/removing...

    My two cents... Get rid of that carb! I talked to Holley guys for hours and hours! YOU WILL NEVER GET CRISP OFF THE LINE ACCELERATION WITH THAT CARB! Get the Summit 570 cfm carb and a jet kit.     Electric choke power source

    Make sure of where you get power for the choke! It can drain your battery overnight! Rob your ignition of power... Weak spark, fouled plugs, hardstarting, etc.

    Whatever you do... Make sure it is completely isolated from the ignition. Electrical power keeps the choke open. It will close for starting by itself. I ran a switched hot wire. When the truck starts...power the choke.

You could try to tune it to spec but you would be off...right...? Rotor phasing... Say yes. Get initial timing right. Check the springs on...
