Usually the first time I hand wash for the spring I will use simple green in a spray bottle a few rolls of paper towels and a tooth brush making sure to get the seal really clean, then follow up with some armor- all or similar on the seals to try to keep them...

    The bigger the diameter the deeper the sound, the longer the muffler the quieter the tone. 2 1/4 should be fairly deep and you could always go to a 3 or 4 inch tip to get it a little deeper.

    This is a vid I shot of my buddies 305 firebird with a single thrush glasspack with no cats. Should give you an idea of the sound the audio is pretty close to how it really sounded. It didn't start snapping and snarling till 3000rpm IIRC.

    Took her out for her second to last ride before my son and I start tearing her apart for a very slow frame off resto. Pulled some dummy out of the ditch, old girl didn't even notice she was pulling something. One more ride tonight with my son then she comes off the road tomorrow.

    Suburban stock speaker sizes / location

    I will second staying away from speakers in the doors. The p/o put 6x9s in the doors and they fire right into the seat because the window motor is in the front section of the door. No issues so far from the elements though *knock on wood*
