    Shoot i just figured it out. The output flange on the 205 is hitting the crossmember. Only one corner is a problem. I installed new mounts but there were no crush sleeves. Maybe i got em to tight, i dunno. Got a bit of room to grind on the flange but not much.

    I just swapped a sm465/206 combo in my suburban. It came with what i believe is a 6 inch lift. The new shorter front driveshaft with double cardan joint is binding. Ive replaced the u joints and used the old grinder where i could but it still binds up. Just wondering if there is a solution...

    The 205 looks to have an opening to install a cable speedo. My 91 is apparently driven by a sensor. I dont even need the speedometer, just want to rid the check engine light

    Just finished a 465/205 swap on my 91 suburban. It was previously equipped with a np241 and electric speedo. The check engine light is flashing constantly throwing a code 24 (vss out of range) Is there a way to make this go away. Thanks for the help.

    Does anyone know which way i should move stuff. Trying to avoid pulling this thing out cuz it was a challenge putting this thing in by myself on gravel.

    Thank you for the reply. Ive already got the 465/205 combo so ill live with it. Gonna be used mostly off road. Pulling my first steering column was quite intimidating. Lots of plugs. Just got to figure out what to wire the clutch safety switch to. Thanks again for your help.
