Vss check engine

Just finished a 465/205 swap on my 91 suburban. It was previously equipped with a np241 and electric speedo. The check engine light is flashing constantly throwing a code 24 (vss out of range) Is there a way to make this go away. Thanks for the help.

Did You install the reluctor wheel from the old TC into the 205 ? If the 205 has the speedo gear then the appropriate reluctor wheel needs to be installed.

The 205 looks to have an opening to install a cable speedo. My 91 is apparently driven by a sensor. I dont even need the speedometer, just want to rid the check engine light

I see what you are saying. So theoretically i should be able to install the vss into the 205.
