    Sorry I haven't gotten any pics of the "Monster" yet I had to work some OT and will try to get some Thursday when I replace my Master cylinder and get my brakes working again. Then if time is available I'll tackle the front front drive shaft.

    axle swap ujoint information

    I am having something similar to this. I put a matching set of axles from a 1976 chevy 4x4 under my 1984 gmc 4x4 and used the drive shafts from the 84 and now I have noticed that the front drive shaft is bent at the slip yoke at the front axle and causing a loud popping noise when it is 4wd...

    hi y'all, I just joined the forum and I am from Town Creek, Alabama. I have a 1984 GMC High Sierra 4x4 and I am bouncing some ideas around in my head and was doing some research online and came across this forum. Hope I find a lot of good info here. And answers to some questions too.
