    I always chose to use the drop spindle as the springs seamed like they would be sloppy when suspension opened up plus it is easier to align as everything stays the same just the location of the wheel moves up.

    Your transmission uses a vacuum modulator on the side of the transmission to shift if it is low on vacuum it will stay in the lower gear and the motor will over rev seaming like the motor is racing but the truck is not moving as it should. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

    Sounds like maybe there is some crap in the fluid, if the very small passages get clogged well need I say more. When you switch gears it changes the fluid flow and then back, this could move the crap along. Plus the fluid it thicker when it is cold compounding the problem. I would try a trans...

    Holley Blue Pump

    A fuel pressure gauge is very helpful, the blue pump are ok but the failure rate of those cheap regulators is high. If I am going to use one of those pumps prefer using the Red one that does not need the regulator. or spend the money on a BG or Aeromotive pump and regulator.
