For the most part they Carb look good there was a couple of small air ports that was clogged up that I unclog. The main cause of it flooding look to be be the person did not hang the needle The correct way. They hung it off the hole on the float arm. As far a smell all I could smell it gas...- Niceandeasy

Too rich?
I got a 87 c10 that had a carbureted 305 motor swapped into it. I Rebuilt the RodChester Quadra jet carburetor due to flooding of motor so bad it was getting in the oil. Changed the oil Now after the rebuild of the carb the truck runs and idles is smooth. BUT now smokes Like it’s running rich...- Niceandeasy

Valve cover paint question
I was look to see if anyone has painted valve covers one color and then put lettering on top of that then went over the whole thing with vht wrinkle paint and it turn out good. I like the older Corvette valve covers that has the old scroll Chevrolet on it. That’s what I was thinking of trying...- Niceandeasy

Oil pressure gauge
Mom oil pressure gauge is maxed out over 80 with motor on or off does not matter is it time for a new gauge or is there a way to fix it or test it- Niceandeasy

No I didn’t need firing order. I need to know the starter wires route. It’s the 2 reds and one purple on driver side of fire wall. Need to know how wires routed over to starter.- Niceandeasy

I have just bought a 87’ Chevy C10. The old owner swapped in a carbureted 305 and the wiring is spliced everywhere with electrical tape and wire nuts. I have cut the tbi harness out because it was not in use and it was hacked up plus I have a mechanical fuel pump. My question for now is...- Niceandeasy
