trying to identify this steering column
It is a tilt column for an automatic and I am swapping it into my 82. The rod that runs down the outside of the shaft to the white plastic switch is not connected inside of the column so I am taking it apart to reconnect it. I can't get the housing off. whusup? I got a 82 2wd long box.... maybe the least most desirable square body :) It is pretty much all new sheet metal front to back, top to bottom, shaved door handles with poppers, swapped interior, rebuilt 350 4 bolt, turbo 400, after market rims and all in all is pretty decent truck.
