83 pwr window doors on 78 Silverado
Got a 78 Silverado with factory pwr windows but not door locks. Doors were in kinda poor shape when I got a deal on a pair of 82 or 83 ( I think ) doors with pwr windows and door locks. I've only mounted the driver's side door and replaced the window motor. Jut not sure how to proceed getting...- Redneck Poet

replace or fab up brake hard line?
Went to change out the flexible brake line on the passenger side of my 78 and the hard inside the frame rail twisted in two (way too easy). So now I gotta replace the hard line from the proportioning valve to the frame rail. I can't find a pre-bent replacement without buying and entire kit so I...- Redneck Poet

78 Silverado with no power brake booster?
Greetings. I have a 78 Silverado I bought many years ago. Haven't driven it in a while but considering putting back on the road. It came factory with 350,AT, pwr windows but not door locks. Factory ac. The brakes were never really great on it and, for some reason, didn't have a power brake...- Redneck Poet
