@yevgenievich - Well I believe you hit the answer on the head. I pulled the Air Cleaner and the Choke (electric) doesn't even have a power connector attached...just the ground. I manually shut the Choke and it started up with relative ease. I don't see a loose power connector anywhere, So my...- Cdubya27

@yevgenievich - that's a good thought...I do believe the choke is sticky as it really had a hard time in cold weather until it would warm up...perhaps its the culprit.- Cdubya27

So my '78 C-10 suddenly won't start. The motor turns and turns and turns, but doesn't seem to get fuel. Now, if I dump a little gas in the carb, it'll start right up and keep on going until I shut it off, and then I can even start 'er up again, over and over. BUT, after sitting over...- Cdubya27

@Sublime Thanks for the advice. Am I correct that the fuel Sending unit is on TOP of the gas tank, so I'll need to drop the tank to access it? -

Thank you for the great information. Anyone have ideas on the Oil Pressure gauge? Should I try putting in the original Oil Gauge? I don't really want to take this new unit apart unless absolutely necessary. -

Hood Won't Close!
Just thought I'd post my results... I moved the hood forward slightly to even out the front corner. I also added a new spring for the release latch and I was able to extend the conical ball that goes into the receiver. All in all IT WORKED! Thanks to everyone for your recommendations. I... -

@bucket - Is this the spring you're referring to? I appears to be intact. It just doesn't feel like that Conical Ball (shown in post above) is getting caught by the spring loaded mechanism. -

Greetings to all. I'm from Luther, OK and recently bought a '78 C10 Custom Deluxe to take care of my mid life crisis itch.
