1966 Mercury Comet Capri, 2dr. hdtp. was a 289 car with an auto, but i converted to 302 with T5. changed it from bench seat to mustang buckets and found a Cyclone hood for it. It was a fun project..- ditzr

thx Rusty.. so far going good.. will be gathering parts for the front end and changing all that, cab is ready to go back on, then engine and trans.. etc.. i do enjoy reading the threads.. there is a lot of knowledge here.- ditzr

not sure, just the way the were.. there is a metal plate on the inside of the scoop... earlier, '65 hoods had an even better look i think...- ditzr

Cam Recommendation
gpmorgan, thank you for your comments.. I initially liked the FiTech system, but i am hearing mixed thoughts on it.. mostly with the entry level 400hp version.. but before i decide, I will do a lot of reading on it.. thanks again- ditzr

I have watched a couple of videos explaining cam specifications, but i am still not sure what the numbers all mean... there are so many options that it all becomes a blurr after looking at the different cams..I would like your opinion on what Camshaft specifications would best suit my engine and...- ditzr

Gilmer Belt Kit
thank you for all of your input.. some of the kits have an extra groove on the crank pulley, which might be capable of running the PS off of... well, i have lots of time, so i thought i would throw it out there.. i had also heard that the gilmer belts make an awesome sound..- ditzr
