Speedometer cable showing less than half
Yes my mistake Bextreme, it's coming from the transfer case. I do not have a box in between, but I suspect there should be something or perhaps an extension since the cable is really tight around the corner in other words way too short. And that is with the longest cable available for these...- Darstrom

Speedometer cable showing less than half
I recently replaced my speedometer cable since the speedo was bouncing a lot. Now the problem is that it's showing less than half speed. Took out the speedometer and checked it, seems to be working fine. And from what I can tell the gearing for the cable is inside the gearbox? Truck is a GMC...- Darstrom

How to fix loose gm steering column
So after too long of a downtime I finally got around to tare it all down to this.. Anyone ever had this problem? I hope some welding will do the trick and I can get her started once again!- Darstrom

How to fix loose gm steering column
Hello! Great thread to start with.. I have a problem which I cannot find adressed anywhere. Hoping to get some answers in this thread.. I've teared down the column to the point of the pin pivot removal. I can see the screws that might need tighten a few threads although they are not dangling...- Darstrom
