Quadrajet rebuild problems
It's more likely a timing issue than a carb issue. Double check your ignition timing.- jam46

Won't Charge
The alternator light is required for the alternator to work. If the light doesn't come on when the key is turned to the run position (engine off) the alternator will not charge. Even a burned out can cause this- jam46
