    Make sure the springs in your heater hoses havent colapsed. It sounds like your not getting enough hot coolant from your water pump. That may be ypur next step

    Are you certain your getting consistant antifreeze running through tge heater core? Ask your self what operates the bypass?

    Thanks for advice. Found massive vacuum leak at base if the carb in the back. It just wasnt tightened down all the way.

    Silicone lubricant If you feel ypu must grease it, i would only use silcone lubricant preferably a spray can. Lithium and wd 40 and others are harsh on platics.

    figured out So I didn't take out the pilot bearing. Yesterday I got a tool from the auto store to remove it. No dice. It was to big to slide in the hole. Found a video showing how to use bread to get it out. I packed bread in the hole and pounded it in with 3/8" drive extension. Kept do in it...
