    Dual tank install

I converted my 77 to the newer style efi tanks, valve and switch. It wasn't terrible. Took me a few weekends of a few hours each. I really do like having the dual tanks, and the redundancy in case one pump fails or something, as I take my truck out on trails alone quite often

    Suggestions for replacing this?

Who here has done the Energy Suspensions body mount bushings? Im looking at the diagram and it shows the cone shaped bushings on top, with the smaller end of the cone facing into the bushing sleeve. It just doesn't seem right. Can anyone confirm proper orientation?

I ended up taking the old one along with one of the new poly bushings to a local metal fab shop and they whipped one up for me

    Suggestions for replacing this?

I've read that these aren't made anymore. This is the sleeve for the body mount bushing on the passenger floor. All the others were in decent enough shape that I cleaned them up, painted and reused. Anybody know where to get a replacement?

I got the grill removed and the two core support body mount bushing removed today. Neither one was tight - they both spun freely with fingers. So far that makes 3 out of the 5 I've removed so far not even close to tight. Time to try number 6 - passenger side floorboard

Well i spoke too soon. Shockingly, the passenger side is completely loose - I'm talking i can spin it with my fingers, and also push up and down on it. It has been doing absolutely zero to keep the cab in place. Anyhow, the captured nut is just spinning on pass side. I made another hole and will...

I got the two rear cab mount locations figured out today. I preemptively used a hole saw on the driver side cab floor and peeled it up to expose the captured nut. I assumed I'd need to before i even started but turns out the bolt came out without needing to access the nut. Everything I've read...

I think I finally have most of the rot out. I was NOT expecting this much when I started lmao. Got the first cab mount bushing out and a bunch of new panels from LMC here Next part will be to clean up as much of the surface rust I can still see and spray it down with some rust converter and...

What is this part called, and are they available anywhere?

Kind of hard to see in my picture, but it's a piece of sheet metal that sits on top of the tee intersection of the two cab floor supports, and covers up the captured nut for the body mount bushings. I had to completely destroy mine in order to get it off, so that I could remove the cab floor...

Good info, thank you. Luckily, so far anyway, all the welding I have to do except one small spot on the outside of the rocker will be hidden under carpet

It doesn't look like the new pans will reach up that curve of the seat hump so I'll have to figure out what to do there Also, those little spot welds across the bottom of the door threshold are weird looking. It doesn't look factory to me but I've never gone this far into one of these things so...
