    Pinion angle and funky Ubolts

If you want someone to look your stuff up for you,you should have intentions to buy it from them. Not just call to waste their time and cost them a sale. If you don't want to pay them for thier service ,you should learn how to look up your own parts. These people don't work for free.

Next time run a tap down the bolts to the nuts first, then wire brush they threads directly behind the nuts.

    Pinion angle and funky Ubolts

All blocks are not tapered, all blocks do have locating pins and holes. Tapered blocks come in different degrees to correct drive line angles but taper is limited,so you need to find out where you are when it's put together correctly. So we can figure our what you need to be where you need to...

As for the Pioneer good luck with it, I don't know them buy model number, just looking for certain look 2 knob super tuner or maybe an Alpine for my 80s era 1966 Chevelle build. Something that looks like it belonged in a high school kids Chevelle.

    Rust removal

I've used just about everything. I have a big sandblaster, a little sandblaster, had a spot blaster, and a bead blast cabinet. Best overall in my opinion has been electrolysis, best chemically has been phosphoric acid or citric acid, depending on what I'm doing. I still use the big sand blaster for...

    Original AM/FM Cassette

Can you post this schematic up? I've installed lots of factory gm car stereo and aftermarket stereos into GMs and have never run across a factory cross over. So I'm very interested in seeing this. On a different note. What's up with the pioneer unit. Possibly interested in buying it from you.

    Blown head gasket ?

Do a cooling system pressure test. If you don't have, don't want, can't afford a pressure tester, let me know. I do have a workaround. Anyway pressure test no spark plugs, dist hot lead disconnected, leave pressure on an hour or so,then crank the engine watch for water to shoot out of a plug hole.Yes...

Here’s the best heavy rust dissolver for smaller parts like nuts and bolts that you’re probably not aware of and is probably in your kitchen.

Citric acid works better than vinegar. Used in canning and soda pop etc. But you can buy it cheap online I just buy it at Walmart. Do your own research, but I think once you try citric acid, you won't use vinegar anymore. Not that vinegar is bad, just citric acid works better and is more versatile.

    Transmission Fluid Question

Do not follow the logic that higher numbers are good,on any lubricant without double checking. A good example is GL5 80/90 gear oil,it destroys brass synchros in people's transmissions all the time people assume they can replace gl4 with gl5.

    700R4.output shaft leak

I would bet chances of hurting anything are slim, plug the hole with something that will blowout with any serious pressure. The thing is why are you having the problem, there wasn't a problem new. It's a case of treat the cause not the symptom.

What have you done to your square lately??

Just for fun one day I looked back at historical fuel prices. If we take into account how much more we earn now ,gas is cheaper now compared to wages. Gas is 2.75 right now. Here's that chart I had to screenshot it in multiple frames.
