    Thank You I did exactly as you said. This will allow replacement of the pump without any structural integrity issues. Much easier than dropping the tank. I will be reinstalling the cut out using light flat bar straps in the channels with rivets and seal the seams with caulk.

    looks like I hit the create post button 3 times, sorry about that. I will reinstall the cut out with some tabs and sealant. It will be under the bed mat so not concerned about that just dont want to cut it if I am not going to be able to accomplish the replacement.
