I am looking for a spare 241c transfer case for my 1990 suburban with the TH400 transmission. The existing 241c is a 32 spline input shaft. I have access to a 27 spline unit that I know to be in good shape and would like to know if conversion to a 32 spline is possible ? if so is it practical in terms of cost or is finding a 32 spline unit the best route to go ?

241C in a right hand drop are a bit hard to find. You'll have better luck finding an NP208 in 32 spline. You'd have to move the reluctor wheel and electronic speedo provision for the 90.
