    yeah i put the O2 sensor in about a week ago. that was PITA to do. When i first start it i have to open the throttle a little for it to start and it doesnt idle up at all. I will try to get a video taken some time this weekend.

    I can't drive it because the inspection sticker expired at the end of December. I was almost out of gas so i took it down the street anyways to get some and it didn't like it very much. Had so little power that it wouldn't shift until I let off the throttle a little and started to backfire...

    I had the same thing happen to me over the summer. Drove perfect to my friends house then when I tried to start it up again it would just spin. It ended up being the pickup coil and the ignition module on the distributor.

    Good News! I figured out how to take it out of diagnostics mode(im pretty sure atleast). I emailed the guy that i bought the cable from and he said that i need pull the "B" pin, so I did. Not sure why i didnt think to do that before. Here is the new tunerpro file with it out of diagnostics...

    Assuming that you've got a 14 bolt ff, I would use the kit from off road design( http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/14FFdisckit.htm ). This is fairly cheep and the parts that it doesn't include aren't hard to find. It's cool that you call your truck old blue because that's what we call my truck.

    I didn't pull the pin... I cut the wire and it would only connect when the wire comming form the Aldo port was grounded.

    yep, still at 0* with the esc unplugged, wont even start with the esc plugged in. It will just backfire out the throttle body.

    ok so i tried to pull out pin a from the aldl port and it wont connect to the computer. so i had to reconnect it. Here is the new file. i didnt have time to check the plugs but they sound fouled. I emailed it to you jim in case you still cant open zip files.

    those mirrors look horrible when on a truck. a friend of mine put them on his dually thinking that they would look around the giant headache rack of his flatbed and they sucked. he ended up with the big 5 point mirrors that mount above and bellow hte window.

    before i left to get the temp sensor i checked it again and it was fine. I noticed the rpms were showing 6375 when it was idleing and sometimes it would go to 550 and 600 but most of the time it was at 6375. Is this normal? also it is idleing very slow compared to usual. what do you...

    Thanks it shows that the collant temp is at 214 *c so ill put a new temp sensor in today. its weird because i checked it many times.

    ok so i got the aldl cable today. what definition are yall using for tune pro. the only one for an 87 truck is the 5.0 will this work with a 5.7?

    use 6 in rods and a shorter piston. it gives more mechnical advantage from the piston to crank. also look into cam buttons. thats where you get more application specific power
