    Old77's 1989 S10 tinkering project

I like experiencing a lot of different vehicles  I don't have room to buy a bunch and hang on to them so I have buy, drive, improve upon and move them along in order to experience all that I want to experience. I was hoping to fix up and keep the Jeep at least through the end of summer...

600 for labor. About 350 for materials. I'm going to have this truck for the long haul so I deemed the cost to be "worth it". If I wasn't keeping the truck for the long haul I'd probably not even consider it and just throw towels over it.

Driver seat has started messing up my pants when it snags on them so I went and got a quote for getting my seat restored. Supposed to drop it off in a month to have it redone. Look forward to it being new and fresh :)

who has lowered their c20 suburban?

Wasn't a kit. Was all from Western Chassis but was Spindle and spring up front and leaf spring in back, as stated previously. Yes, R2500 can use the same components as C20. The parts I bought were in the R2500 suburban section of their site at the time. It's been a few years, tho, so they may...

Newly acquired C20 suburban. 2/4 drop or leave stock?

As I said before, no it won’t. You’ll want to incorporate helper bags, tho

Newly acquired C20 suburban. 2/4 drop or leave stock?

No, you’ll be good! May want to add some helper bags for towing but you’d probably want that anyway IMO

Interesting tips on doing this without taking the heads off! I assumed that was a requirement, regardless, but good to know it can be done with them still intact.

Rear bumper was pretty roached so we started looking for a replacement. It seems that no one makes new replacement bumpers for these s10 blazers so we looked at Marketplace. Long story short, got lucky that someone local to me was looking to give one away or he was going to scrap it. Everything...

Welp, @RetroC10Sport is the big winner tonight!! Purrs like a kitten now! So, the gauge in the gauge cluster doesn’t work. So the previous owner put in an aftermarket coolant temp gauge under the dash. To do tnat, he used that port next to the thermostat neck and left the gauge used by the ECM...

I’ll try Jay’s idea first (cheap and easy to throw one on) and if that doesn’t fix it I’ll see what fuel pressure looks like
